One friend once asked the Messenger of Allah '' What is the size of disobedience to parents? '' He replied '' When they told he did not obey, when they asked that he not give, if looked at them he did not respect them as have been enjoined for them '' (Mustadrak AL-Wasail 15: 195) And he also once said to Ali bin Abi Talib 'Ali, whoever has saddened his parents he had been disobedient to their' '(AL-Wasail 21: 289: AL-Faqih 4: 371).
